For as long as I can remember, beauty has been part of my world.

Growing up in Brazil with a mother who was a hairdresser, I was surrounded by the beauty industry from an early age. The salon was more than a place where women came to have their hair done. It was a place of connection, transformation and confidence. I saw how something as simple as a beauty ritual could change the way a woman felt about herself.

And that feeling stayed with me.

As I grew older, my love for beauty became something deeper. I developed an appreciation not only for products and their results, but for the entire experience of using them.

I've always been someone who pays attention to the smallest details. I believe that when we invest in ourselves, we deserve more than a product that simply does its job. We deserve thoughtful formulations, beautiful details and those little moments that make everyday life feel special.

Yet, so often, I found myself loving certain things about a beauty product while wishing the overall experience could be better.

That's when I began dreaming of creating something of my own.

A beauty brand created by a woman, for women. One that understands our desires, celebrates our individuality and recognises that beauty is about so much more than appearance.

That dream became UMA Cosmetics.

ONE NAME. A BEAUTIFUL MEANING.

In Portuguese, my native language, UMA means one.

To me, that simple word holds a much deeper meaning.

There is only one you.

Your beauty, your personality, your journey and everything that makes you who you are deserve to be celebrated.

But UMA is also about something bigger than individuality.

It's about belonging. About women supporting women, sharing experiences and creating a community where everyone has a place.

Individually, we are unique. Together, we are one.

I created UMA with a simple belief: every woman deserves to feel beautiful, comfortable and confident in her own skin.

My vision is to create cosmetics that bring together thoughtful ingredients, beautiful design and an elevated everyday experience.

Products that feel like a little moment of luxury, even in the middle of an ordinary day.

Because sometimes, it's the smallest rituals that make the biggest difference in how we feel.

UMA Cosmetics is the beginning of a journey I've dreamed about for a long time. And my hope is that, as the brand grows, it becomes something meaningful to every woman who chooses to be part of it.
